1974 – Starts the production of polyurethane foam blocks in the new facilities in S. João da Madeira.
1980's
1981 – Société Industrielle Bertrand Faure, S.A. joins, further boosting Flexipol’s participation in the automotive market;
1982 – Starts production of heat-molded foam;
1987 – Another important event… The acquisition of the Polyester Foam Block Production Line.
1989 – A new production line for highly resilient molded foams is acquired
1990's
1991 – Bertrande Faure becomes the majority shareholder of Flexipol.

2000 – Start-up of the new moulded foam line for the manufacture of mattresses and pillows.
2000 – Start-up of the 2nd Transformation Line (Baumer) of 60-metre blocks into rolls.
2001 – Flexipol is certified according to the UNE EN ISO 9001:2000 standard.
2003 – A carousel is installed for the production of cold-formed cushions.
2005 – The installation of the 3rd Baumer roll cutting line for 60-metre blocks is completed.

It is today a solid company in different markets Automotive, Bedding, Furniture, Footwear, … thanks also to the qualification of its human resources. These are its primary tool that has allowed the Flexipol name to be internationally recognized as a supplier and as a reference partner.
Starting its industrial activity in 1964, with the production of polyurethane foam, as well as the manufacture of upholstery, it quickly established itself in the market.
In this way, it felt the need to increase its facilities, taking into account the growing needs of the industry.
